For example, between 2022 and 2023, the price of plaque and caries diagnostic supplies increased by an average of 11%.
Similarly, supplies for professional teeth cleaning, such as the powder needed to air abrasion (sandblast) teeth, have become more expensive by an average of 14% year-on-year. In contrast, sandblasters themselves have become cheaper. Their prices fell by almost 17% in 2023. Unlike sandblasters, where the price has been falling, the price of periodontal instruments has gone in the opposite direction, rising by 16% year-on-year.
Some impression materials have increased in price by a quarter year-on-year. The growth in prices of printing materials in the Czech Republic between 2022 and 2023 exceeded 10%.
